Every student has a unique set of abilities, interests, and challenges that are addressed at the individual level. Students complete developmentally appropriate tasks, aided by peers and teacher-coaches, with the goal of deep, meaningful learning of concepts and skills core to successful adult civic participation and independence.

Students participate in year-round school without penalties for reasonable absences. Automatic promotion is abolished in favor of seamless transition to more difficult topics as students master the prerequisites. Grades are replaced by rubrics and checklists that ensure students truly understand topics. Failure is not an option, as students are required to fix and resubmit projects until they reach proficiency in the subject.
Teachers work in teams and create schedules based on student needs and current learning goals. Community and business leaders collaborate with the school to provide students authentic learning experiences and networks to enable meaningful employment after graduation. Parents and community members are encouraged to volunteer and assist teachers and students with their learning goals.
Students will be evaluated on their ability to demonstrate or apply their learning. The failure that produces learned helplessness is removed because students learn from their mistakes without labels or stigma.
Reading, Writing, and 'Rithmetic will be transformed into Domains that, while independent, can we worked on and advanced both simultaneously and independently. Promotion is based on the average level of progress, and can happen after the end of each quarter, instead of once each year.
All educational staff is paid at the same rate, with inflation adjustments each year for continuing employees. All staff receives full benefits on top of an appropriate wage that exceeds the cost of living. Teachers are the lifeblood of childhood educational development and need to be paid based on their importance.
